about

Love en Route is the culmination of songs written over the span of three years, all dealing with love in its varied forms. I guess you could say that the ultimate goal of writing this album has been to better understand love as it truly is, stripped of all fairy tale misconceptions. Then again, maybe the goal of making this album was just to make you shake your ass. Either way, I hope you enjoy it and play it very, very loudly.

Love,
Harry

Track Name: Sweet Calypso
She lets me in her room
When her boyfriend's not at home
Whenever I'm drifting too far
She reminds me I'm not alone
She's got a sense of style
She's got a smile to please
Whenever the morning comes
her eyes are begging me not to leave

Sweet Calypso

She lets me in her bed
when I'm all weighed down with drink
Whenever I question myself,
she's there to help me think
That body could break me down
I've seen it done before
silent beside me she's
dreaming of something more

But there's no more for sweet Calypso

I knew you way back in the day
some things I know will never change
but every time you take your clothes off for me
I get to thinking I should stay

She plays hard to get
'til her door is locked and shut
it hasn't happened yet,
but it's getting close enough
and as she gets undressed
leaving those lights on
I'm laying back in bed
just dreaming up this song

for sweet Calypso
